Activision şi Bizarre Creations (creatorii seriei Project Gotham Racing) au anunţat că vor lansa jocul de curse Blur pentru PC, PlayStation 3 şi Xbox 360 în această toamnă. Titlul se va distinge prin aspectul fotorealist al maşinilor, precum şi prin faptul că jucătorii vor putea folosi diverse îmbunătăţiri (power-ups) ofensive sau defensive.

Maxim 20 de vehicule vor putea lua parte la cursele ce se vor desfăşura în zone precum Los Angeles, San Francisco sau Barcelona. De asemenea, Blur va include şi o componentă online intitulată Custom Groups ce va oferi jucătorilor posibilitatea de a-şi configura propriile competiţii multiplayer sau de a le folosi pe cele create de alţi concurenţi.

Blur în noiembrie

Viitorul joc al celor de la Bizarre Creations, pe numele său Blur va fi lansat în luna noiembrie pentru Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 şi PC. Iniţial descris ca ”Mario Kart întâlneşte Forza”, Blur introduce şi power+ups pentru ca jucătorul să aibă mai multe şanse de a câştiga o cursă. Jocul se va bucura de un număr destul de mare de maşini licenţiate şi circuite inspirate din realitate. Bizarre Creations sunt cunoscuţi pentru seria Project Gotham Racing, din care fac parte 4 jocuri foarte bine primite de public şi de presa de specialitate.

Last month, Bizarre Creations released a developer diary video explaining the powerups available in their upcoming racing game, Blur. Apparently, they didn’t quite get the message across clearly enough. This time around, they wanted to emphasize just how painful and humiliating their powerups really are. The game is slated for release on November 3 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Looking beyond Blur's single player story, gamers can engage in competitive and team-based multiplayer races with up to 20 players online, or on a single console via 4-player split-screen. Bizarre is especially excited to introduce Blur's original social gaming experience - Custom Groups, where anyone can create unique multiplayer modes based on their favorite ways to play the game. These new modes are immediately shared through Blur's social network, expanding the game in ways that are only limited by the gaming community's creativity.

Apare pe 28 mai cu beta in martie

Bizarre’s announced Blur will launch in the UK on May 28.

The date was announced at a recent press tour for the racer in Liverpool last week.

It was due to release in November for PS3, 360 and PC, but it was delayed into this year.

The multiplayer beta was confirmed to launch next week, it was revealed yesterday. As of today, websites and other places have been handing out codes for the beta, which is exclusive to 360.

Efectele alea sunt cumva power up/trap de genul celor din Downtownrun? Daca da e foarte interesant , dar nu si inedit.

Nu am jucat downtown run, dar sunt la fel ca cele din level-r (mmo'u ce s-a desprins din project torque) si re-volt. Oricum din ce am vazut pana acum, mi se pare mult mai interesant split/second care iese in aceeasi perioada.

Pacat.Re-volt e prea inocent . Ar trebuie a incerci daca nu l-ai jucat. Este ca si NFS MW..campionate ,etc.Drift, bataie bara la bara, un power up si gata esti primul.. sau te trezesti ca iti opreste unu motorul,el fiind deja in plina accelerare.
Interesant si antrenant e ca AI-ul stie sa se folosesca foarte bine de tepi,ulei, etc , totul ducand la un street fight pe cinste.
Blur pare sa fie in genul acesta.Must play .

Haha ce tare e joculetul, l-am luat azi si am facut un campionat. Controlul e chiar excelent pt un joc asa vechi. Dar jocul e f greu, acum esti pe primul loc, in secunda urmatoare pe ultimul loc. Pacat ca sunt cam putine powerups de alea, dar in rest e excelent jocul.
