Sherlock Holmes şi-a construit reputaţia dezlegând cele mai încâlcite enigme.
Cu ajutorul doctorului John Watson, colaboratorul său de încredere,
renumitul “detectiv consultant” a devenit indispensabil pentru descoperirea
infractorilor de orice fel, bazându-se fie pe puterea sa de observaţie,
pe deducţia sa infailibilă, fie, la nevoie, pe forţa pumnului.
Dar acum, deasupra Londrei se adună norii unei ameninţări cu care Holmes
nu s-a mai confruntat până acum…dar pe care abia o aşteaptă.

După un şir lung de crime violente de tip ritual, Holmes şi Watson sosesc
la timp pentru a o salva pe ultima lui victimă şi pentru a-l prinde pe ucigaş:
recidivistul Lord Blackwood. În timp ce se apropie data osândei sale prin
spânzurătoare, Blackwood—care îi terorizase pe colegii de puşcărie
şi totodată pe gardieni cu puterea sa de a stârni şi folosi forţele răului
îl previne pe Holmes că moartea nu va avea nicio putere asupra sa,
iar după cum se va vedea, execuţia va eşua conform planurilor
lui Blackwood.

L-am vazut acum, nu m-a impresionat, chiar plictisitor pe alocuri. Nea sherlock stia karate? ). Frumoase slowmotion-urile cu pumni si scena de bum de la fabrica, mi-a adus aminte de 300. In rest , neimpresionant.

Nu stia karate. Mie mi-a placut filmul chiar daca nu s-a bazat in totalitate pe povestea reala a lui Sherlock Holmes.

Am inteles ca sunt discutii avansate pentru realizarea unor filme asemanatoare acestuia, avandu-i ca personaje principale pe Marco Polo, respectiv Leonardo da Vinci.
